What the law lets you ask
Law 81/2018 is the Lebanese law on personal details, and it covers how they are handled by anyone, not only by a business. It gives you the right to ask what is held about you and to get a copy, and to have details corrected, completed or erased when they are wrong, out of date, no longer needed for their purpose, or should not have been collected. A correction or an erasure has to be done within ten days of the request.
